It’s Revs o’clock 🍹✨
We headed down to @revolution_brighton and honestly, January just got a whole lot better. They’re offering 33% off food when you order through the Revs app, which makes it such a bargain for lunch (or let’s be real, drinks too 👀).

We tried the pepperoni pizza, ridiculously cheesy and seriously delicious 🍕🤍

The drinks menu was huge, so of course we went all out with cocktail pitchers.
🍹 I went for the Giant Rumball with spiced rum, mango, lime, grenadine and Red Bull.
🍹 Raquel chose the Absolutely Fabulous with Absolut vodka, raspberry and watermelon vodka, Malibu, plus shots of strawberry, pineapple and dragon fruit, topped with Red Bull.

To finish, a round of flavoured shots because why not 😅 Jelly Baby, Strawberry & Cream and Flumps. Tomorrow’s headache is a problem for future us 🥴💃

Asiana, Hove 🥟

I am hesitant to describe this Asian grocery shop that serves dim sum on Portland Road as a hidden gem, because I think it’s safe to say that everyone who lives within a reasonable distance knows all about @asiana_grocery_dimsum. But if by some chance you weren’t aware, get yourself to Hove and either take a pile home with you or sit in and enjoy.

From buns to gyoza and a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, they’re freshly steamed daily and simply yum. They’re also really cheap, which is simply a bonus. Everything is roughly £1-2 per item and you can mix and match as you please.

I had chicken yakitori, a pork bun, chicken gyoza, prawn har gow, and a warming bowl of miso soup. This all came in at around £10. I also bought some udon noodles to cook at home and topped up the crispy chilli oil supply…

Of course, this is a go-to if you need to restock the home staples with Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Korean supplies like curry pastes, or big bag of gyoza for the freezer! I have to be really disciplined in there because I always want everything.
