We managed to squeeze one in just before Christmas to Bacaro 👀 This was our first time at Bacaro as I’m not one to plan... let alone book a restaurant and we couldn’t believe our luck when we walked in and they had a spare table of 2 🥹 The foodie in me was SO excited!⁣
⁣
We got:⁣
▪️ Pancetta croquette⁣
▪️ Braised beef croquette⁣
▪️ Fried gnocchi, basil pesto⁣
▪️ Focaccia, oil & balsamic vinegar⁣
▪️ Pan fried seabass, creamed cavalo nero, parsley garlic oil⁣
▪️ Slow cooked harissa lamb tagliatelle, Grana Padano⁣
▪️ 4oz Fillet of beef, tempura prawns, watercress purée & fennel ketchup⁣
▪️ Bacaro seasoned fries⁣
▪️ Harissa roasted butternut squash hummus, pickled golden raisins, garlic butter flatbread⁣

The meal was lovely - I’ve honestly not stopped thinking about the hummus since I’ve left, I wish I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life 😅 ⁣

The service was amazing, I couldn’t believe how quick the food came. I think we were in and out within an hour and we didn’t feel rushed either. The meal was reasonably priced too coming to under £80 including drinks and tip 🫶🏻
