Boom Battle Bar runs competitive socialising venues across the UK, where axe throwing, augmented reality darts and karaoke booths sit alongside the bar. It is a format built on groups turning up for a night out, which makes social content less of a nice-to-have than it is for most hospitality brands.
The problem was never whether creator content worked. It was that getting it took manual outreach, one venue at a time. For a brand operating at this scale, every new location meant more sourcing, more vetting and more back-and-forth, all landing on the same small team.
Joli took that work off them. Creators are found, vetted and briefed in one place, so the programme grew across the estate without the workload growing with it.
Joli has been really helpful in saving us time and internal resources, particularly when it comes to managing gifted creator visits. Previously, a lot of that activity relied on manual outreach, whereas Joli has allowed us to streamline the process and bring more creators into our venues across the UK.
Ad Studio changed the paid side. Video is the format that gives a campaign its best chance of performing, but having relevant video ready for every campaign and every message had not always been possible. Briefing creators directly means campaign-specific video now gets made at the pace the ad account actually needs it, so there is a real mix of assets to test rather than a reliance on static carousels or brand content that was never cut for the platform.
The biggest impact for us has been scalability. We’re able to deliver a much greater volume of creator activity across our UK venues while also producing UGC for paid campaigns more efficiently.
