This is one round of a finisher I did recently in my amazing gym The Manchester Collective. 🤍

When speaking to my 1:1 ballet clients about injury prevention as a professional ballet dancer... for me it comes down to:

When it comes to Ballet people see the effortless performance on stage, but they don’t see the reality of the studio. They don’t see the endless repetitions, the frustration when a turn just isn’t landing, or the days where perfection feels completely out of reach.

As dancers, we are wired to chase perfection, but the secret to actually getting there isn’t pushing blindly until you break - it’s knowing when to pause. Sometimes, the most productive part of a rehearsal is the moment you step away from the mirror, take a breath, and reset. You have to allow yourself to move imperfectly in the studio to finally find that perfect alignment on stage.

Grateful for the quiet moments at the barre to recharge, refocus, and rehydrate. Taking a much-needed beat with my @aquaflask.gb Ballet Pink bottle before getting right back to the work. 🩰💧✨
